1. Information We Collect

BizWiki collects only minimal information necessary to provide our services:

• Automatically collected information - IP address, browser type, visit time, search keywords
• Cookies - Cookies for service convenience (including local storage)

BizWiki does not have a membership system and does not collect personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers from site visitors. (For how we handle the publicly-available business data shown in search results, see the section below.)

2. How We Use Information

Collected information is used only for the following purposes:

• Service usage statistics and improvement
• Prevention of fraudulent use and ensuring service stability
• Advertising services (Google AdSense)

3. Data Retention Period

Automatically collected log information is retained for up to 1 year for service operation purposes and is automatically deleted thereafter.

4. Third-Party Disclosure

BizWiki does not provide users' personal information to third parties. However, information may be provided in accordance with applicable laws when required by legal authorities.

5. Processing of Publicly-Available Business Data

The business names, representative names, business registration numbers, and addresses shown in our search results are based on government open data (Korea Fair Trade Commission mail-order seller disclosures, National Tax Service business-registration status, and Financial Services Commission corporate basic information). A sole proprietor's representative name may constitute personal information; BizWiki processes such already-lawfully-public information on the basis of its legitimate interest in consumer protection and transaction safety under Article 15(1)6 of the Personal Information Protection Act. Resident registration numbers are never collected or displayed, and personal contact numbers are masked.

6. Rights of Business Data Subjects

The representative of a listed business may request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of the published information. Email support@bizwiki.co.kr with the business registration number and name, together with proof of representation (business registration certificate or certificate of closure — with unnecessary details such as resident registration numbers redacted). After identity verification, we process the request in accordance with applicable law and respond with the outcome within 10 days. Processing may be limited where a statutory basis applies (e.g., Article 37(2) of the Personal Information Protection Act).

7. Cookies

BizWiki uses the following types of cookies:

• Essential cookies - Recently viewed businesses, bookmarks (local storage)
• Analytics cookies - Service usage statistics (anonymized data)
• Advertising cookies - Google AdSense personalized ads

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may be limited.

8. Advertising Services

BizWiki displays advertisements through Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits.
